Springfield

One call to City Utilities turns on electric, water and gas. Sewer is the City, and trash is a private hauler you arrange yourself.

Good to know

Trash is the one thing people moving in from out of town get wrong. The city does not collect it. Pick a licensed hauler and set the account up yourself before move-in day.

Your sewer charge is based on water use, usually a three month winter average, so it is not a flat fee.
